I am hilarious...I mean, I do alright. I was named, "Best of the East Coast" in the Detroit International Comedy Festival I was also featured in the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival in Asheville, NC. In May, I won first place in the Catch a New Rising Star Contest at the Catch a Rising Star in Lincoln, RI. I have also been featured in the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and the New York Comedy Expo. And have performed across the country from Boston to Los Angeles and even did a short tour in Canada...but dont let that sway you.

Established in 1963, in New York City, by Budd Friedman, the Improv provided a venue for showcasing new talent. He recreated his venue in L.A. and quickly grew in reputation and success. In the early 1980's, A&E aired "An Evening at the Improv", hosted by Budd Friedman and showcasing top stand-up talent. The World Famous Improv is where many of today's stars were born and continue to shine. The World Famous Improv Comedy Showcase has been the career launching pad for dozens of the familiar faces of television and film, like David Spade, Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey and the list goes on. all of us here at ijoke are very excited about this contest... not only is it a great chance for us to gain new membership and exposure...but 3 comics will get the chance of a lifetime to grow their careers and be seen by some super important people.

In the past contests like these have led to discovering of stars... i think i remember once budd judged a contest and the winner was ray ramano....  We are grateful to the FUNNY PEOPLE movie team and the harrahs improv in las vegas for making this happen. So if you are a comic that wants to appear in Vegas, and you feel you may have star power, lets see your stuff! tell your friends and lets find some new comedy stars......
